Siemens Mobility has signed a Vietnam high-speed rail contract worth up to €1 billion with VinSpeed to supply 10 Velaro Novo trains for two lines that held groundbreaking ceremonies earlier.
A Siemens Mobility locomotive depot handling up to seven locomotives at once is due to open near Poznań in 2027 as the company's first Rail Service Center in Poland.
Siemens Mobility has begun trial operation of a software-defined interlocking in the tram tunnel beneath Rostock Central Station, the first use of its Signaling X platform in German urban transport.
