Technical Specs of the 30 CAF commuter trains for Belgrade

The new fleet is based on the CAF Civity platform. Each electric unit uses a three-car configuration made from lightweight aluminium. Still, these trains reach top speeds of 120km/h. Every unit can hold 546 people. Separately, seating is provided for 204 passengers.

Srbijavoz requested a specific interior layout to meet local requirements. For example, each train features six multi-purpose areas. These zones are designed to carry up to 18 bicycles.

Integration with the Belgrade Urban Transport Master Plan

This investment supports the Belgrade Urban Transport Master Plan. At the same time, the BG Voz network spans 35 stations. It includes four primary lines and three supplementary routes. These lines intersect at key intermodal hubs. Additionally, passengers can easily switch between rail services, trams, and buses.
