Las Vegas Amtrak station upgrades and access work

The City of Las Vegas announcement said the platform will get LED lighting. In addition, it will get warning strips. A new drainage system is planned to help prevent flooding.

Construction timeline

Separately, construction is due to start this year, as KRQE reported. The upgrades are expected to be completed by the spring of next year.
