The order book of Vossloh, which specializes in the supply of track components and track machines, reached a record value of 1.25 billion euros in 2022 (+31.6% compared to 2021). It is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to zdmira.

Orders received last year included long-term contracts for the supply of reinforced concrete sleepers to Australia, rail fasteners for high-speed lines in China and Egypt, and an agreement on preventive rail grinding in Germany.

The company’s turnover was 1.05 billion euros (+11% compared to 2021), the EBIT indicator was 78.1 million euros – an increase of 8% compared to 2021 and the best result in the last 10 years, despite rising prices for materials and electricity. All three business units showed profitability, but in Core Components, due to high material prices, EBIT fell slightly in 2022 (43.7 million vs. 46.7 million euros in 2021)
