Ukrzaliznytsia has introduced another convention on transportation to Polish Hrubieszow through the Izov border crossing.

UZ announced a new convention

This is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply, citing information from the company.

In fact, we are talking about the continuation of the restriction introduced on April 13 and related to the transportation of  “cereals; seeds and fruits of oilseeds, seeds, fruits and grains of others, medicinal plants and plants for technical purposes; straw and fodder; vegetable materials for the production of wickerwork, other products of plant origin; residues and waste of the food industry; prepared animal feed.”

It was planned that the convention would last until April 24. But now there is information that from April 25 to May 3 a similar restriction will be in effect.

As Alexander Frolov (deputy head of the main traffic control center of the JSC’s traffic control department) explained, this is due to the decision of the Polish carrier.

As previously reported, UZ has restricted the transportation of grain to Romania.
