The announcement was published on the public procurement portal ProZorro. KRBP must complete the work by the end of 2021. The contract with KRBP will be concluded without a tender, since the plant is the manufacturer of this rolling stock.

Ten MPLT cars (two trains) were built by KRBP for Euro 2012 on the order of Ukrzaliznytsia.

Only 66 wagons were manufactured in Ukraine in February

Ukrzaliznytsia also plans to order maintenance of Tarpan trains for UAH 14.8 million.

In January 2021, Ukrzaliznytsia ordered the repair of two Skoda electric trains to its subsidiary Kyiv Electric Railcar Repair Plant. The estimated cost of the work is UAH 291.5 million.
