Ukrainian railway workers were paid a 10% increase in wages

This increase applied to all employees with a salary of less than UAH 30 000. Payments for June to railway workers are promised to be added to the August salary, informs Railway Supply magazine, citing UZ.

“We will make every effort so that this increase in the wages of railway workers is the first step towards the return of the railway industry to the top positions in terms of wages among the sectors of the Ukrainian economy”, Ivan Yurik commented. As a reminder, the salary of railway workers fell in June and was one of the lowest in Ukraine.
