TMH presented the concept of a capsule car
TMH demonstrated the interior of a non-compartment car with diagonal planning solution. Capsules with berths in this railcar are located diagonally relative to the aisle.
The model presents two options: a personal capsule and an open compartment. The personal capsule is separated by a wall and a curtain from the common corridor, it is designed for passengers traveling alone.
The target audience of the open compartment is families with children and large companies. Each place in the car has a charging station for mobile devices, hangers, pockets for personal belongings, etc. Additional luggage shelves are provided under the ceiling of the car.
The concept design was developed by the 2050.Lab studio. This is the third option in a series of projects aimed at replacing the traditional reserved car.
Models are made in size T with increased width and length of the car compared to standard rolling stock. The length of the passenger compartment increased by 290 cm, the width of the car increased by 28 cm.
