The West Pomeranian region was the first in Poland to order hybrid trains. Their official premiere was in 2019 at the TRAKO exhibition.

The first train in the series is colored amber, while the second is green.

Earlier, between 2013 and 2018, the West Pomeranian region has already ordered 40 Impuls trains from Newag.

The innovative hybrid train Impuls 2 type 36WEh is the first railway vehicle in Poland, which, in addition to electric motors, is also equipped with internal combustion engines that enable it to travel on non-electrified areas.
