Tatra-Yug has fulfilled the contract for the supply of trams to Egypt

All 15 tram cars of the Ukrainian manufacturer “Tatra-Yug” were delivered to the Egyptian city of Alexandria, informs railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to the information of the enterprise. Thus, the obligations for the supply of rolling stock under the contract have been successfully completed.

Trams for the city of Alexandria were developed according to the individual requirements of the buyer in order to be adapted to the peculiarities of the city’s infrastructure and climatic conditions.

“Fulfillment of this export contract, numerous positive reviews from the operating organization and passengers, support from the Egyptian government – all these are important indicators of the reliability and quality of Tatra-Yug trams. We are proud to be a part of the renovation of one of the oldest tram systems in the world, “Tatra-Yug said in a statement.
