Škoda Vagonka: Production of new trains for South Moravia

Production of new trains for South Moravia has begun and the region has already received a loan from the EIB. The first electric train should be ready in mid-2021. The contract for 37 units (totaling 6.6 billion kroons) is unique in the Czech Republic. For the first time, trains are purchased directly by the region, then the train would be leased to carriers, informs railway magazine «Railway Supply » citing information portal Zdopravy.
