Siemens Mobility has launched an electronic parts catalog
Siemens Mobility announced the launch of MoComp, a unified electronic spare parts catalog for rolling stock. It specifies the full range of electrical and mechanical components as well as system solutions for modern rail vehicles. This is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to the press service of Siemens Mobility

The catalog includes pantographs, power plants, bogies, brakes, onboard power supplies and other equipment for metro and trams, regional and high-speed trains, as well as locomotives and passenger railcars.

“The portfolio is specifically tailored to the needs of the industry from a vehicle manufacturer’s perspective,” says Albrecht Neumann, CEO of Siemens Mobility’s rolling stock division. “MoComp will give rolling stock and original equipment manufacturers, operators, the convenience of purchasing individual components and entire systems to help them optimize and improve the performance of rail vehicles.”
