In one year’s time, on 31 May 2022, the 28th International Exhibition for Track Technology (iaf) will open its doors. The fair will take place at the usual location in Münster. The organiser is pleased with the excellent level of bookings, but emphasises that there is still sufficient free space available.

International Exhibition for Track Technology (iaf)

The iaf is the world’s leading trade fair for track technology and has enjoyed an excellent reputation among rail industry professionals and exhibitors for decades. The organiser expects the world premiere of new and innovative products and services in 2022, inform Railway Supply magazine, citing iaf 2022.

Preparations for the trade fair, which will be held in Münster from 31 May to 02 June 2022, are in full swing. “Stand spaces are still available in all areas, both in the halls and on the outdoor grounds and track. Anyone who wants to secure a special position should contact us quickly!” says Siegfried Krause, Managing Director of VDEI Service GmbH, which is responsible for organising the fair.

Registration is possible via the fair website www.iaf-messe.com. The current plans of the exhibition grounds that can be viewed there offer interested parties the opportunity to choose a suitable stand location for their presence at the fair. The web portal is the information platform for the iaf.

Exhibitors can manage their trade fair presence individually and book the necessary services online via the service portal from autumn 2021. In addition, the organiser will report there regularly on the status of preparations.

The organiser of the international trade fair is the Association of German Railway Engineers (VDEI). Association President Thomas Mainka is already looking forward to the first major trade fair for the railway construction industry after the Corona-related break: “After a long time, the iaf will again provide the opportunity for personal exchange in our industry. Despite all the technological aids, there is no substitute for the importance of personal contact. In addition, there will be many innovative machines and devices that can be inspected at close quarters.”

With 15,000 m2 of hall space, 6,000 m2 of open space and more than 3,000 m of track, the fair offers a representative overview of the industry unlike anywhere else.
