The 111Ed locomotive, or Gama Marathon, is a modern, four-axle electric locomotive with an internal combustion engine that allows shunting operations outside the contact line and servicing non-electrified railway sidings.

The acquisition project was co-financed by European funds, reports the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to POL-MIEDŹ TRANS.

Due to the investments made, POL-MIEDŹ TRANS can offer a wider range of services in the field of railway transport, which allows not only to optimize transport costs, but also to positively influence the environment and transport safety.
