The electric locomotive Gama 111Eo, in the livery of Orion Kolej, is ready for its inaugural journey. The train was manufactured for the Polish company by PESA Bydgoszcz, according to Railway Supply, citing Pesa.

Orion Rail Logistics Sp. z o.o. is a railway carrier operating in the market since 1997. The company has begun modernizing its fleet and investing in modern, environmentally friendly, and safe means of transportation.

The Gama 111Eo locomotive is an electric locomotive with a power output of 5,600 kW, operating on a 3 kV direct current.

The locomotive is equipped with a modern drive system, featuring two liquid-cooled traction converters and four inverters, one for each traction motor.

The manufacturer has equipped it with regenerative and resistive dynamic braking. The locomotive is designed to operate trains at speeds up to 160 km/h.

This is the first Polish locomotive to successfully undergo all tests of the new ETCS system and receive approval from UTK (Office of Rail Transport) for the use of safety systems.
