One of two Škoda double-decker trains will come back after repairs
One of two Škoda double-decker trains will enter the route after repairs before the end of this year, during the peak days of winter traffic.
“Ukrzaliznytsia has run-in Škoda. By the end of the year, the updated train will enter the route. We plan that he will go on tours during the peak days of winter traffic this year. The train was run-in and was able to pick up a speed of 160 km/h, “said the head of the Passenger Company branch, Alexander Pertsovsky.
He also added that the second Škoda train will be out of repair in the first half of next year. As previously reported, UZ has repaired the first Škoda electric train. These trains were delivered to Ukrzaliznytsia in 2012 in preparation for the European Football Championship final.
The story with their overhaul dragged on for about three years.
