Olkol has signed another major contract for the repair of electric locomotives

One more contract between Olkol and PKP Intercity was signed last week. Its subject is periodic level 4 maintenance repairs for EU / EP07 electric locomotives, informs Railway Supply  magazine citing Rynek Kolejowy..

The contract provides for the periodic overhaul of P4 16 EU07 + 7 locomotives as an option and is concluded for 24 months. The remuneration for the performance of the contract with the use of the option right and taking into account the expected additional works is over 25 millions zlotys.

“This is another, the second largest contract this year with our most important client, PKP Intercity. I am very pleased that this collaboration is so constructive. The implementation of this contract confirms Olkol’s dominance in the repair and modernization market for EU07 locomotives. This is our specialization, which we intend to develop, in addition to developing new services for other segments of the railway market, ” said Bohuslav Kowalski, President of Olkol.
