Nikolaev Diesel Locomotive Repair Plant (NTRZ) has finished a deep modernization of the 2TE10M mainline diesel locomotive, reports railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to the company website.

During modernization, the locomotive received a modern engine of the Belgian company ABC with a service life of 70 thousand hours before overhaul, a German Heinzmann engine control system, an AC traction unit manufactured by the Ukrainian plant Electrotyazhmash, as well as a microprocessor control system.
