LLRZ overhauls DC electric locomotives VL8, VL10, VL11, 11m, 11m/5, VL11m/6, AC VL40 and VL80, traction units PE2M, PE2U, OPE1AM and other models as agreed with the customer.

Repair of electric locomotives includes:

  • wheelsets, bogies, body frames
  • repair of brake and pneumatic equipment, automated control systems
  • repair of electrical equipment, pantographs, electronic equipment
  • repair of traction and auxiliary motors, replacement of all cables and wires
  • installation of a tank, washbasin, etc.

According to their operational characteristics, the repaired and modernized electric locomotives fully comply with current standards and can be used on any railways with a gauge of 1520 mm, electrified with direct and alternating current.
