Kazakhstan allowed loading in containers at all stations

“Shippers are provided with equal opportunities to use not only wagons, but also containers for the transportation of goods. This work is being carried out within the framework of increasing the containerization of export cargo … At the same time, it should be borne in mind that many countries are switching to container transportation, the infrastructure for handling containers is developing, – the press service of the first deputy general director of KTZ – Freight transport LLP Kanat Kobesov quotes. “For example, at the moment, China is having difficulty accepting cargo in covered wagons, the transfer of cargo in containers is faster.”

At the moment, the use of containers is a demanded service for customers of the Kazakhstan Railways, exporting products to European countries and the states of Southeast Asia
