Kazakh railway operator KTZ chooses new board of directors

On October 7, 2021, a new composition of the Board of Directors of the Kazakh railway operator KTZ was formed.

As the railway magazine Railway Supply reports referring to KTZ, the Board of Directors of the Kazakh railway operator KTZ includes:

• Shomodi Kalman – independent director;
• Vokurka Ulf – independent director;
• John McKay – independent director;
• Nurlan Zamanbekovich Akhanzaripov – independent director;
• Akchulakov Bolat Uralovich – representative of the interests of the Sole Shareholder;
• Nurzhan Talipovich Baidauletov – representative of the interests of the Sole Shareholder;
• Kravchenko Andrey Nikolaevich – representative of the interests of the Sole Shareholder;
• Zhanadil Yernar Beisenuly – representative of the interests of the Sole Shareholder;
• Sauranbayev Nurlan Ermekovich – Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC “KTZ”.

As a reminder, in the first half of 2021, more than 4.8 thousand freight cars of KTZ underwent scheduled repairs, which is 9% more than in the first half of 2020.
