The fleet of Kaztemirtrans JSC (a subsidiary of the Kazakh operator KTZ) was replenished with 1000 new gondola cars.

The rolling stock was manufactured by Kazakhstan Railroad Car Building Company LLC, informs Railway Supply magazine with reference to KTZ.

To fulfill the order, the company produced 150 gondola cars per month. The project was implemented with the support of the state. 23.3 billion tenge was spent on this.

New gondola cars have already been delivered to the railway. In the first half of 2021, more than 4.8 thousand freight cars of KTZ underwent scheduled repairs, which is 9% more than in the first half of 2020.
