ONCF typically conducts tenders approximately once every three years, entering into long-term agreements with suppliers. Under this contract, Moroccan Railways will use Ukrainian products to update their fleet of passenger cars, including the Fiat AnsaldoBreda electric trains, as well as freight cars.

Alexander Garkaviy, Director of the Railway Products Division at Interpipe, stated:
– Interpipe has been collaborating with ONCF for about 15 years. During this time, the company has established itself as a reliable wheel supplier. Morocco is expanding its rolling stock fleet as part of the construction of high-speed electric train lines, so Interpipe hopes for further development of the partnership with Moroccan Railways. In general, the African continent is a promising market for the development of railway product supplies. We already cooperate with Mauritania, Gabon, Egypt, and plan to expand our presence in other countries in the region.
