Evraz sues manufacturer of freight wagons and rolling stock casting

Evraz filed a lawsuit against JSC Ruzkhimmash, a manufacturer of freight cars and casting for rolling stock (an asset of RM Rail Group, Mordovia). The amount of the claim is 1.4 billion rubles, as railway magazine «Railway Supply» reports citing Interfax.

The application was submitted on November 20, but has not yet been accepted for consideration. The essence of the statement of claim is not specified in the materials of the court. So far, no comments have been received from Evraz and Ruzkhimmash.

RM Rail controls assets for the production of freight cars and casting for rolling stock in Mordovia and Khakassia. Until recently, the company was part of Oleg Deripaska’s Russian Machines.
