Czech Railways wants to purchase new hybrid and hydrogen trains, informs Railway Supply magazine citing nakolei.pl

Invited manufacturers will be able to present their technological solutions through the announced initial market consultations.

ČD leases 13 Vectron electric locomotives

The customer emphasizes that the demand for such trains in the Czech Republic can reach up to 100-200 units. Zdopravy.cz received information from the CEO of ČD that Alstom, Stadler, Siemens Mobility, Škoda Transportation, ŽOS Vrútky, as well as Polish manufacturers – Newag and Pesa Bydgoszcz were invited to the consultation.
