In October, it is expected to sign an agreement on a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the restructuring of the railway infrastructure of Moldova.

The agreement will be an addition to the previously concluded loan agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the EBRD on the implementation of a project for the purchase of locomotives, reports the railway magazine Railway Supply.

According to the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrei Spinu, we are talking about 27.5 million euros intended for the reconstruction of the Bender-Causeni-Basarabeasca-Etulia-Giurgiulesti section.
