CSX Integrates On-Dock Rail With Southeast Toyota’s $170 Million Blount Island Terminal
28.04.2026
A Toyota processing facility at Jacksonville Port Authority’s Blout Island Marine Terminal is set to receive direct CSX service. Southeast Toyota Distributors dedicated the new site last week. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

As reported by Progressive Railroading, CSX already provides on-dock rail service to all three terminals at the Florida port. The company said it will soon introduce direct service to the new facility. That planned connection places the new Toyota site within the port’s existing on-dock rail service network.
Toyota processing facility and rail service
According to Jaxport, the $170 million complex covers 88 acres. It also includes seven buildings with more than 380,000 square feet of total space.
The facility will process, accessorize and distribute vehicles. It will serve the 178 Toyota dealers covered by Southeast Toyota Distributors across its five-state region.
In addition, Jaxport said the site can handle about 4,000 vehicles per week. That is nearly twice the capacity of the distributor’s previous facility at Jaxport’s Talleyrand Marine Terminal.
Jaxport auto cargo capacity
Jaxport is also a major gateway for autos and roll-on/roll-off cargo. Last year, the port opened the first of two new auto berths at Blout Island. The second berth is under construction and is scheduled for completion in early 2027.
