Rail access for the CGC Inc. plant

Construction began two years ago on the CA$210 million facility. In a CPKC social media post, officials said the plant is next to CPKC’s mainline in Wheatland County. Also, the location gives CGC direct rail access for inbound bulk materials. It will also help the company reach additional markets.

CGC officials said the new plant was designed as the company’s most environmentally friendly and sustainable facility. The statement covers CGC’s 120-year history.
