CPK tenders in 2026 will exceed 40 billion zł

The tenders in 2026 are around 40 billion zł in value. The largest are to comprise construction of high-speed line Warsaw–Łódź and core buildings of the central airport of the future.

CPK tenders and their year-wise allotment
The funding shall be divided on a quarterly basis. The resources shall be provided for the second quarter to the tune of one-half. There shall be sufficient procedures for the first and fourth quarters as well. Meanwhile, contracts in 2027 shall include HSR sections and the Y-shaped railway junction.

The financial resources in 2027 are projected to be over 10 billion zł. The contractors for two massive HSR sections, each valued at over 5 billion zł, will be chosen. Moreover, money will be allocated for a fuel base and a railway unloading terminal.
It must be noted that more than 2.2 billion zł are allocated for road construction around the airport in 2025–2026. The investments are meant to ensure accessibility and integration with the country’s transport system.
Tenders and strategic outlook for the project
The whole tenders for 2025 would be valued at approximately 30 billion zł. Already, 18 billion zł’s contracts have been announced. But by the end of the year, significant foundation work would be initiated for the terminal and for tunneling beneath the airport location.
CPK has been referred to as one of Poland’s largest infrastructures projects. Consequently, the government intends to attract contractors with international experience and transparent procedures that should accelerate construction and reduce financial risks.
The strategy envisioned that CPK would be completed in 2032. The first section, Warsaw–Łódź, would be put into passenger service. At the same time, up to 2035, HSR corridors would connect Wrocław and Poznań, stabilizing Poland as a hub within Europe’s transportation network.
When would the largest CPK tenders start?
The biggest tenders are set for 2026, with nearly half the amount being released in the second quarter. Some of the procedures, however, would also be commenced in other quarters within the year.

The largest investments would be allocated for Warsaw–Łódź HSR line, the Y-shaped railway junction, and main airport installations and road infrastructure within the Central Hub area.
