Vectron MS fleet expansion

As Railmarket reported, the locomotive is named “Ignacy”. It continues the lessor’s expansion of a Vectron-based fleet used in international leasing.

CARGOUNIT introduced its first Vectron MS, No. 807, in 2018. Five more locomotives followed in 2021. Since then, the Vectron platform has become a central part of the company’s international leasing portfolio.

According to CARGOUNIT, the lessor has more than 60 additional Vectron locomotives on order. Further deliveries are scheduled in the coming period. Its multi-system locomotives are deployed in freight services across European corridors.
