140 Ukrainian railway workers have been killed since the beginning of war

Since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the Russian occupation army into Ukraine, approximately 140 railway workers have been killed as a result of shelling. Another 120 employees of the company were injured.
Such information was published in the UZ railway chat “Buksa. Rail worker helper”, informs the railway magazine Railway Supply.
Ukrzaliznytsia noted that they continue to support injured railway workers and provide material assistance to the families of those who was killed as a result of warfare.
The company has already allocated more than UAH 10 million for such purposes.
As noted in the message, workers or their families have already received part of the material assistance. “Others are in the process of receiving and will definitely receive it,” the message assured.
Recall that the first month of a large-scale war claimed the lives of 54 railway workers.
