The auction for the selection of a consultant for the passenger vertical of UZ was postponed from March 9 to March 21.

UZ postponed

The deadline for accepting proposals has also been moved to February 11, informs railway magazine Railway Supply.

Note that the expected cost of the service is UAH 304 million, it was determined using the answers of potential bidders.

Consultations should be provided by the end of 2023. Earlier, former Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krykliy criticized the corresponding tender. According to him, the tender for UAH 300 million is registered under the German DB engineering & consulting (“daughter” of the German railway operator).

At the same time, on the website of the German operator Deutsche Bahn there are announcements about the search for a project manager for cooperation between DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH and Ukrzaliznytsya. Job is offered in Kyiv. It is indicated that the candidate will manage the transformation project and become a member of the international management team.

Details of the financial plan of Ukrzaliznytsia for 2022

Recall, on August 26, the private joint-stock company Kyiv Electric Car Repair Plant (owned by UZ) signed an agreement with Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting to provide advice to Ukrzaliznytsia.

The value of the contract is 891 thousand euros.

However, VSK experts consider the agreement with Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting illegal. After all, Ukrzaliznytsia deliberately avoided a tender to select a consultant for the company.

It is interesting that, according to this agreement, German specialists are actually engaged in the same thing, for which a new tender has now been announced.
