Tram TW20 Alstom Begins Dynamic Testing

The next-generation tram will begin servicing line T1 at the end of 2024. This 100% accessible transport will gradually replace the old trains on Île-de-France’s oldest tram line.

Dynamic testing is taking place on tram line T8 from Épinay-Orgemont to Saint-Denis.

Performance and compatibility tests with network infrastructures will continue this summer.

Driver training will begin in September before passenger operations commence.

These new trams, supplied by Alstom, will increase capacity by 15% compared to the trams currently in operation.
