The terminal for Kazakh grain has started operating in the Horgos Special Economic Zone in China

The grain terminal, constructed in the Horgos Special Economic Zone, has commenced receiving grain from Kazakhstan in grain hopper railcars, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Currently, the terminal is capable of unloading two train compositions (6,000 tons of grain) per day.
It has also been announced that local authorities plan to expand the grain storage facilities in the Horgos Special Economic Zone from the current 50,000 to 1 million tons and to construct additional railway lines.
