The tender for the purchase of trams for Odessa is canceled

The tender for the purchase of 14 three-section trams for Odessa (the North-South route), announced in May 2020 by the Odesgorelectrotrnas KP, has been canceled, reports Railway Supply со magazine citing Pushkinska information portal.

The tender will be postponed to 2021. The reason for the cancellation of the tender was the lack of a complete package of documents from the bidders.

“Due to the coronavirus and tight deadlines, none of the bidders submitted a full package of documents. We have to start a new one, which will take place in January-February. The tender committee has already informed about this decision to the participants of the tender, as well as to the European Investment Bank, “- said the deputy mayor of Odessa, Dmitry Zheman.
