Czech double-deck electric trains Pendolino and Škoda will be equipped with an on-board ETCS system

Alstom signed an agreement with ČD Telematika for cooperation in the supply and installation of the ETCS II system on the 680 series units, i.e. Czech Pendolino. In addition, Alstom will supply a system for Škoda's double-deck electric trains. It is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to Nakolei.

Rail Baltica announced the procedure for installing the ERTMS/ETCS system on 870 km of the railway line

Rail Baltica, a joint venture established by the Baltic States, has announced a tender for the design and installation of an ERTMS/ETCS system for 870 km of the railway line. It is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to Nakolei.
