This facility will become an important part of the infrastructure, providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for rolling stock not only in Azerbaijan but also in neighboring countries.

The agreement between ADY and Stadler Rail Group includes the provision of a wide range of services.

In particular, the center will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all types of Stadler railway vehicles that are actively operated on the lines.

Comprehensive technical support will help maintain a high train readiness level, exceeding 95%.

This ensures their reliability and minimal downtime, which is especially important for the smooth operation of the railway system.

Rustamov emphasized that Stadler Rail Group plays a key role in modernizing Azerbaijan’s railway sector.

As part of the collaboration, ADY plans to purchase 10 new passenger trains from the Swiss manufacturer this year.

To date, four trains are already in operation, three have been delivered to the country and are undergoing technical inspections, and the remaining trains will be delivered by the end of the year.

The establishment of the Stadler service center in Baku will be an important step in the development of the region’s railway infrastructure.

In addition to servicing rolling stock, the center will provide access to advanced technologies and professional consultations, which will contribute to improving the efficiency of the railway network’s operations.
