FLIRT trains

Today, the Lithuanian railway operator LTG Link and Stadler signed a contract for the supply of a fleet of modern FLIRT trains.

This is Stadler’s first order in Lithuania and a significant sales success in the region.

As a result of the explosion at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station, several million tons of grains and oil crops may be lost

By providing electric and battery trains, Stadler supports Lithuania’s path to sustainable mobility.

LTG LINK will receive 15 units of FLIRT trains (mandatory volume). They also plan to exercise options and make additional purchases of up to 13 electric multi-level FLIRT trains in the Intercity version, 15 electric and battery FLIRT trains with a range of 100 km, and 11 electric and battery trains with a range of 70 km.

In the first tranche, Stadler will deliver 9 FLIRT trains in the Intercity version and 6 units designed for operation on non-electrified railway lines.

Additionally, the company will provide technical support and spare parts for a period of 10 years after the delivery of the last train.

The trains for LTG Link will be manufactured at the Stadler Polska factory in Siedlce.
