Siemens Mobility has delivered two Smartron locomotives to the Bulgarian company Bulmarket Rail Cargo

On November 15, 2020, two Smartron locomotives were supplied to the Bulgarian company Bulmarket Rail Cargo, as railway magazine «Railway Supply» reports citing  Seenews.

Siemens Mobility plans to supply ten more Smartron locomotives to the Bulgarian state railway company BDZ Passengers. The first two locomotives from Siemens Mobility will be shipped in December 2020. Under the contract the remaining eight locomotives are to be delivered by May 2021.

The contract for the amount of 55.5 million leva (33.7 million dollars / 28.4 million euros) for the purchase of ten electric locomotives was signed in May 2020.
