RHEDA 2000 ballastless track system was first used in Serbia

In December 2021, it is planned to complete the construction of a high-speed railway from Stara Pazov to Novi Sad within the international line Belgrade – Subotica – Budapest.
The construction of the section is carried out by Russian Railways International: in particular, the Russian side built the first Chortanovtsi railway tunnel in Serbia, where RHEDA 2000 ballastless track system from the German company Rail.
One was used, informs Railway Supply magazine.
Over the past 20 years, the system has been tested many times on many complex infrastructure projects, including the construction of high-speed lines, and has been installed on more than 4,500 km of railroad tracks.
