08.03.2026
Putrajaya Line service disruption will affect last-train operations today and tomorrow. As reported by Malay Mail, Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd (Rapid Rail) announced the changes after a power supply cable theft incident.

Metro Prima Station becomes the temporary final stop
In a statement issued today, Rapid Rail said the final train from Putrajaya Sentral Station to Kwasa Damansara Station will terminate at Metro Prima Station. It is scheduled for 11.35 pm today and 11.05 pm tomorrow.

Also, passengers travelling beyond Metro Prima Station can use free feeder bus services. The buses will run to the subsequent stations up to Kwasa Damansara Station. They will operate every 15 to 20 minutes. “Passengers who wish to continue their journey to Kwasa Damansara can also use the Kajang Line as an alternative route,” it said.
Repair works continue after cable theft incident
Meanwhile, services from Kwasa Damansara Station to Putrajaya Sentral Station will continue to operate as usual. There will be no timetable changes.
In addition, Rapid Rail said the measure is intended to speed up recovery of the affected infrastructure. It said operations can return to normal as soon as possible.
Separately, its technical team has been fully mobilised since the cable theft incident was detected on March 3. The team is carrying out repair works on the affected infrastructure. It is also working to ensure the service can be restored safely and stably.
At the same time, engineering hours on Saturday and Sunday nights will be extended. This will give the technical team more time to reinstall cables, conduct system testing and carry out safety inspections on the affected infrastructure.
Still, passengers are advised to check the latest service status through Rapid KL’s official service channels or the MyRapid PULSE application.
