Prime Minister of Great Britain In addition to the financial and military aid package, Boris Johnson recorded a message to the railroad workers, informs Railway Supply magazine, citing UZ.
Here is the text in full below:
Hi, this is Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. I am aboard the fantastic Ukrzaliznytsia train to Kyiv from Poland. I just wanted to express my deepest gratitude to you – to the entire railroad team – for what you are doing. I heard that you are called “iron people” here.
This, of course, is related to your railway industry, but at the same time it reflects your spirit, the real Ukrainian spirit that Ukrainians demonstrate in resisting the terrible aggression of Russia. I deeply sympathize with your losses and my thoughts are with the affected railway workers in Kramatorsk. I want you to know that the United Kingdom stands with you in this fight!
Railway news you may have missed:
The ring train in the capital of Ukraine carried about 100 thousand passengers
