LTG Group implements the ‘FREE Rail’ program, aimed at full integration with Europe, according to the railway portal Railway Supply.

Among the initiatives being implemented within the group of companies are measures aimed at adapting Western technological solutions to the 1520 mm railway gauge used in Lithuania.

One of such solutions is the ongoing modernization of locomotive safety systems (LSS).

In May, the company GTC (UAB Geležinkelio tiesimo centras) joined the modernization of LSS by entering into an agreement with the Estonian company SLD Consult OÜ for the installation of new LSS in GTC’s wagons.
