KTZ has transported over 190 million tons of cargo since the beginning of the year

For 9 months of 2021, KTZ loading amounted to 190 million tons. This is 1.5% higher than in the same period last year.
Domestic transportation volumes amounted to 123 million tons (+ 1%), exports – 66.6 million tons (+ 2.5%). For the period January-September, the loading of coal increased by 5.2% and amounted to 76.6 million tons, reports Railway Supply magazine with reference to KTZ.
Grain transportation volumes amounted to 6.4 million tons, including 4.8 million tons for export. Freight turnover increased by 2.6% and amounted to 176.4 billion ton-kilometers.
As a reminder, on October 7, 2021, a new composition of the board of directors of the Kazakh railway operator KTZ was formed.
