JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” received the first 5 new passenger cars from KVSZ

The first 5 compartment cars out of 100, ordered from the Kryukovsky Railcar Building Plant, passed the final acceptance in Kyiv by the specialists of UZ Passenger Company branch.

Under the terms of the contract, 20 out of 100 ordered railcars are to be delivered to JSC Ukrzaliznytsia by the end of 2021. Thus, the company has already received the first five compartment cars from this batch ahead of schedule, reports Railway Supply magazine with reference to the press service of UZ.

The owner of KVSZ offered to allocate UAH 31.5 billion for the purchase of freight cars

The first two passenger cars purchased at the expense of the state budget and manufactured by the Kryukovsky Railcar Building Plant were presented by Ukrzaliznytsia at the rolling stock exhibition at the end of August.
