Vaishnaw congratulated the IIT Chennai team and Avishkar group for his exceptional work. Their work guarantees that testing progresses and establishes norms that are universal.

Hyperloop Progress in India

Later, Vaishnaw visited the IIT Chennai’s Guindy campus and inspected the Open House 2025 exhibition. He met with students, celebrating India’s future under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

India’s youth are data scientists, artificial-intelligence specialists and semiconductor designers powering growth. “These are the talents that make India one of the best global players today,” Vaishnaw said.

Five semiconductor factories are in operation nationwide, he said. Oh and also, India will be releasing its first home-grown semiconductor by the end of the year, a monstrous victory.

Vaishnaw presented prizes to winners of the innovation contests during the visit to the exhibition. He urged them all to continue to invent, furthering his creativity.
