The Metropolitan Railway Management Board confidently oversees investment preparations for metro line No. 5. Consequently, this line connects Van Cao, Ngoc Khanh, Lang, and Hoa Lac efficiently and quickly.

City officials instruct the Department of Planning and Architecture to collaborate with multiple agencies. They work alongside the Department of Construction, MRB, and Urban Planning Institute for strategies.

Planners design the metro on a 1:500 scale, integrating transit-oriented development and surrounding areas. This approach ensures ample land availability, so urban development bidding thrives and supports growth.

The MRB diligently aligns the metro plan with current regulations and the city’s 2021-25 goals. Thus, the project strengthens infrastructure, and authorities aim to finalize approvals this year.

Officials predict train numbers will rise from 25 to 40 between 2025 and 2050 progressively. Accordingly, trains achieve speeds of 120 km/h, but underground sections maintain 90 km/h safely.

Commuters benefit from train intervals of approximately 3.3 minutes, ensuring efficient travel times daily. Hence, this schedule supports the growing population, and it enhances public transport reliability significantly.
