Siemens Mobility recently secured a contract with Green Mobility Partners for the delivery of up to 50 Vectron MS locomotives. Out of these, 8 units are already approved for production, with deliveries starting in 2025. Vectron MS locomotives, with their power capacity of 6400 kW and top speed of 200 km/h, are designed for use across Central and Western Europe. Their multi-system capability allows them to operate on various electrified rail networks, increasing their appeal for international operations.
