On the occasion of the liberation of Kherson, UZ opens pre-sale of tickets for trips to Ukrainian cities still under Russian occupation. It is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to the operator.

Victory train

These tickets can be used after the liberation of cities from the invaders. Tickets will be valid for the first three trips from Kyiv to liberated Kherson, as well as to Mariupol, Donetsk, Lugansk and Simferopol in Crimea.

The ticket can be purchased and kept as a symbol of faith in the Armed Forces and the liberation of Ukraine from the invaders, and used immediately after the de-occupation. As soon as traffic resumes, UZ will send a message with the date and location. A symbolic ticket can be purchased here.

All tickets are charitable: the proceeds from their sale will be transferred through the UNITED24 platform to the purchase of last mile vehicles that will help connect cities and villages in the occupied territories with the nearest railway stations.
