Ukrzaliznytsia has announced a number of new conventions for transportation to Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Germany and Austria. It is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to Rail.insider.

In particular, from December 19, restrictions on transportation to Slovakia are introduced. This applies to all cargoes to Interport Servis sro and Areal prekladisko Haniska (station near Kosice) via Uzhgorod. In addition, from Monday, conventions are introduced for transport to Slovakia, Austria and the Czech Republic through the Chop station for all goods and recipients in wagons for the carrier ZSSK Cargo on a 1520 mm track.

Shipments to Poland, to Louis Dreyfus Company Polska Sp. z o.o. restricted from December 19. All these conventions are established “until canceled”.

In Hungary, from December 23, 2022 to January 8, 2023, a ban on transportation to the Miskolc-Rendező station will be introduced for TS Hungaria Kft.

In addition, from December 10, 2022 to May 19, 2023, it is prohibited to accept for transportation all goods passing through the border crossing between Poland and Germany (Kostrzyn PKP/Kustrin-Kietz DB).
